A New Opportunity for 2021. This new West Country Classic Series is being established with the aims of:
Eligibility
Any yacht entered in any of the individual regattas with a minimum length on deck (LOD) of 5.5m/18ft and constructed as a keelboat or displacement vessel with centreboard, will be included in the overall series placing.
Classes
Each regatta will continue to use its current class structure
Points for the Series
Points will be based on the yacht’s overall placing in each regatta entered and weighted in favour of yachts which enter more than one regatta.
Prizes
An evening prize giving dinner will take place at the end of the season with trophies for best performances by small and large bermudan and gaff/other rig boats.
The organisers of the participating regattas invite you to take part in this new series and look forward to welcoming you to their regattas.
